WORK PACKAGE 5 – COMMUNICATION PLAN
ACTIVITY 1 - Preparation and implementation of the communication plan and the preparation of informational materials
The activity is devoted to the preparation and implementation of the communication plan with the PR support to the project through the development of the integrated graphic image, which should contribute to the uniform image and recognition of not only the project, but the entire territory of Karst, and the preparation of the Web page of the project. The activity also envisages the preparation of informational material aimed at visitors of Karst, namely:
- a promotional publication on Karst on environmental, cultural and traditional characteristics of the area,
- a leaflet on trails in Karst, which can be covered by car and bicycle,
- a brochure on the high quality naturalistic and cultural elements of Karst,
- a leaflet on the Living Museum of Karst, and
- a leaflet on the Museum of Water in Karst.
At the same time the activity also envisages the assistance for the publication of information material, produced to promote the activities of the Centre for Cultural Activities in Repnič, the Reception Centre in Gradina and Boljunec.
The activity is carried out by the Regional Development Agency of Karst and Brkini (PP16) and the Action Group of Karst (PP15) with the selected external contractors on the Slovenian and Italian sides of Karst. The lead partner (VP) is responsible for the coordination of the implementation of operations.
ACTIVITY 2 – Organizing project events
The activity is aimed at organizing events for the informing of the general public about the project as well as the promotion of initiatives. The activity involves the organization of:
- press conferences for the presentation of the results of the project realized in the first half of the duration of the project and
- 12 inaugurations of investment initiatives of the project (the Information Centre of Sežana, the Living Museum of Karst, the Reception Centre of Gradina, the Tourist Information Centre of Hrpelje-Kozina, the Betanja-Gabrk Road, the trails from Gorjansko and Brestovica to the border with Italy, access paths and cycling paths and the viewing platform of Cerje, the cycling path at the Osp creek, the Reception Centre of Boljunec, the Center for Cultural Activities in Repnič, the Museum of Water in Karst and the suburban road Devin-Nabrežina).
The activity is carried out in cooperation with various partners, who are responsible for organizing the opening event of the infrastructure initiative, realized within their jurisdiction. The lead partner (VP) will, in addition to the two opening events (the first of these was carried out in March last year - 2011), organize the interim conference in the second half of the project.
